On Friday, a powerful teaser for late superstar ‘Puneet Rajkumar’s final film, ‘James,’ was released. For his fans, this is nothing short of a treat. Following the trailer’s release, South’s superstar Prabhas appeared to be both excited and emotional. In addition, he wrote a touching note for the late actor’s film.
On his Instagram account, actor Prabhas shared a poster for Puneet’s film ‘James,’ writing, “I am confident that we will witness a masterpiece in the form of James. For the millions of people who enjoy power, this film will always be special. Rajkumar sir is a fan of Star Puneet. Sir, we all miss you.”
This film is notable in that it is being released following the death of actor Puneet. Puneet Singh, also known as ‘Appu,’ was an Indian actor, playback singer, and producer. He worked primarily in Kannada cinema. Puneet, a 46-year-old actor, died of cardiac arrest on October 29 of last year.
Puneet had already finished filming for his part in the movie when he died. ‘James,’ directed by Chetan Kumar, stars Priya Anand as the leading lady and includes cameo appearances by Punit’s older brothers Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shivraj Kumar. The film will be released in theatres on March 17, 2022, Puneet’s 47th birthday.
