Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, and The Kashmir Files, starring Anupam Kher, have been in theatres for three days. Both films have performed well over the last three days, but when the budgets of both films are considered, The Kashmir Files has earned the title of superhit on the second day of its release.
First and foremost, let us discuss The Kashmir Files, a film directed by Vivek Agnihotri that performed well on its opening day, grossing 3.35 crores more than expected. Although the film was only released on 700 screens at the time, due to popular demand, the number of screens was increased to 2000. Surprisingly, the film’s budget is only 14 crores. On the second day, the film made 8.25 crores, and on the third day, it made a record-breaking 14 crores.
In just three days, the film has amassed a total of 25.5 crores. If the film’s earnings continue at this rate, it will soon reach the figure of 100 crores. The storey in Vivek Agnihotri’s film has a lot of power. The film tells the storey of Kashmiri Pandits who were homeless in the 1990s. “The Kashmir Files” is a film that pushes the boundaries of scriptwriting and storey weaving.
Let us now turn our attention to Radhe Shyam. Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, made a record-breaking 35 crores on its first day, but the Hindi version of the film only made 4.50 crores. On the second day, the film grossed Rs 4.50 crore. On the second day, ‘Radhe Shyam’ grossed between Rs 24 and Rs 27 crores in India.
On the third day, Sunday, Prabhas’ film received a special benefit. The third day collection for Radhe Shyam (South India) is estimated to be around 35 crores. Simultaneously, the film has grossed around 4 crores in the Hindi belt. Radhe Shyam World Wide has amassed a sum of Rs. 100 crores.
